- What Not To FlushPosted on July 01, 2021
It's important to remind you that only toilet paper is to be flushed into the sewer system. Sewer collection systems have a hard time handling inappropriately flushed items, such as paper towels, rags, and wet wipes which can cause sewer back ups. The repair and cleaning of a sewer backup is quite costly and time consuming which in turn affects all members of the district.
What Not To Flush- Baby Wipes/Wet Wipes/Cleaning Pads
- Dental Floss
- Q-Tips/Cotton Balls
- Diapers
- Tampons/Condoms
- Cooking Grease/Fats & Oils/Egg Shells
- Cigarettes/Coffee Grounds
- Paper Towels/Rags/Napkins/Newspapers/Magazines
- Medication/Needles
- Cat Litter
Human excrement and regular toilet paper are the only thing you should flush down the toilet.
